So my friends and I exchange dating advice frequently and they've all been telling me things will work out with me and the guy I like (we're apparently very compatible :D) but I'm wondering if your best friend's opinion is as important as I think. it's an outside opinion, which is good, of course, but your friend isn't you. input?

A close friend's opinion is always good, but don't take it to heart. I mean, only you can tell if you are truly compatible or not. They may claim that they know best for you, but sometimes they don't. Just trust your instincts on this guy, too.
