Care about him in what respect? You may still have feelings for him, but this is bad juju's. Your feelings for him should be the least of your concerns. My question to you is how ex is he. As in how long have you been broken up for? If it hasn't been very long, I'd have to say it is highly uncool one of your best gal pals is seeing him, if it hasn't been like 5-6 years that is. It's very uncool for your friends to date your ex. If your break up with him is recent, I'd delete your gal pals number from your phone, and slowly begin to separate yourself from her, and in my mind would not consider her a friend at all. Why you may ask. Because if it is recent, its very insensitive to your feelings to start dating him, when you haven't got over him yet. She may also have helped that brake up occur, in other words she may have stole your man. If she did, good they deserve each other, and just like that 2 people who are not your friends, and can't be trusted are out of your life. They did you a favor if that is the case.
Erm well a little more background would be helpful. How long ago did you break up? Did you end on good terms? Were you still friends? If it was a bad breakup with a lot of hurt feelings I'd feel betrayed by my best friend and furious with my ex. However, I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of know how much you're upset by it.
