Does ethnicity matter?

to some older. generations it means a lot but not so much today. you free to like whatever race you please

I know back in the older generations it mattered and not so much now.As long as you don't let it get to you it won't matter.I am a white person and dating a black boy and I know there are people out there who look at us and will be like how can she be with a black boy how can he be with a white boy but screw them.If you really like the person or you love them then so be it it don't matter.You can't help the race of the person you like or the person you fall in love with.

Not at all, it could be a chance to experience different cultures and get a little background.
It might be a problem if you don't speak the same language lol

it will only matter once you think it matters. if you start to think of that as a barrier, then it will be a barrier. it's all in the head. if you really like and care about this guy, you'll look past the whole ethnicity issue and won't see it as a problem. if there are other things about the other person that bothers you that don't pertain to his ethnicity then that's entirely different.
