Everything changes when you express your feelings towards someone, this happened to me once she was a very close friend and I told her I liked her and she said she didn't feel the same way (but she admitted later that she actually did) and said don't worry this doesn't change anything between us but she got more distant? I was like WTF? so as soon as I stop texting back or calling her like I did she gets all upset and wonders why I'M ACTING DIFFERENT? I have other examples from my friends but we'll leave that for another story, but just wondering why though
I'd like to acknowledge what you've said towards the end here. She is probably afraid that now that she has told you about her feelings towards you that you will start acting different, so she's waiting or you to initiate conversation first. I do this sometimes and I know while I'm doing it that it's probably wrong, but I feel like if I initiate the conversation, he'll think I'm becoming clingy or obsessed. And well, when you don't talk to her first, even for a day (it feels likes FOREVER when you like someone), she'll think you're acting different because she's paranoid. I'm sorry girls are like this.
Since you're her very close friend, she would probably know most things about you right? Maybe it's just a feeling that she had, and she had no intentions of starting a new relationship. Also, some girls are shy or won't admit that she likes you, just because we don't want to fall into a relationship, after realizing that it would end really quick. But, I think, if you move away so quickly away from her, she'll be upset because she's not really used to not having you by her side anymore, or maybe she doesn't want to leave you as a close friend.
So a few months ago, my friend that I've known for like 2 years and I have become really close and were hanging out like almost everyday. We told each...
