I have a friend that I started talking to again in February after a 5 year absence. I have fallen right back in love with him and he has told me that he feels the same. Unfortunately he technically has a girlfriend right now. He and this girl have broken up 5 times in the last 6 years and they got back together this last time before I even entered back in the picture. They are currently on a trip to India together that apparently has been planned for many months. I am just wondering what the chances of them breaking up again are. I figure that if he is feeling the way he is about me then he has no business being with her. Also, 5 breakups in 6 years! That tells me that something is obviously not working out.
well honestly I don't know about that. I have been with my boyfriend for only a year and we have broken up six maybe seven times, breaking up 5 times in six years is nothing. chances are they love each other which is why they both keep going back.
I'm not really saying I disagree, but if you love someone so much to keep going back why would you keep breaking up in the first place? You love someone, you fight to stick it out. You don't give up every time something doesn't go the way you want. - 5 months ago

Its more or less that things come up and sometimes its hard to stay together. its also you could need a break after a fight and technically breaking up is the easiest just until you calm down. - 5 months ago
