Ok, so my boyfriend and I started dating fairly recently and for a while now he's been planning to go fly out to Virginia (we're from Illinois) to see his female friend from high school. Originally he was planning to go with another of his friends to see her, but do to $ reasons his friend can't afford to fly out. Now my boyfriend is thinking that instead of paying for a a hotel he can cut his costs and stay with her for the week. I understand that he hasn't seen her since she got stationed in Virginia (she's in the navy) and I don't want him to think that I don't trust him its just that I am a somewhat insecure person and this situation is making me feel more insecure. Should I approach him about the fact it bothers me that he is going to be staying with her for the week or just let it be.
hey, I think that you should tell, that's the only way to deal with your insecurities! and if her really loves and appreciates you he would respect your feelings!
Bingo! I don't like being insecure, nor do I think that really anybody does. You need to discuss these feelings with him. That is great that he has a friend in the navy, but then it sounds a little fishy when all of a sudden his friends back out and he can't afford to stay at a hotel. No dice. If he still thinks that is best alternative, give him your alternative. See later, maybe when you get back. Good Luck!

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
Ideal first date is simple.. movie and coffee. It gives me a chance to learn about a person and see how they react to my pastimes. Chemistry is important, and I like to keep an open mind. If a date was funny, clever (maybe a bit mysterious) I would date them again. As for a good ending? Anythingwell, not be cliche, but romantic and spontaneous is always a good way to ensure a second date
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Afterwards? Well my date would know that I like unique and people who aren't egocentric (can give a complement instead of taking one). I love dark humor and am a rather good person.. dark but an overall nice person. But of course, you can never tell who a person is just by one date
