How do you know your in love with someone?

I think you just know in your heart. That person is always on your mind and easily affects how you feel.

That's not a very easy question to answer.

Love is not something that can be quantified, qualified, or otherwise described. Love is different for each person, because each love is unique. And not just between different couples, either.

I'm not sure if I've ever been "in love". I believe I have. Each girl I've ever liked/loved I've felt different things. Some I couldn't stand to not be around them, while others it didn't matter as much. Some I wanted them to be happy (regardless if it was with me or not), while others I wanted them to be happy with only me. It really depends on the person that I like/love.

One common thing though was not being able to get them out of my thoughts. In that respect love shares a lot in common with infatuation.

I can tell you one thing though. whatever it is that I've felt before, it really sucks to have it smashed to bits.

Love is both a powerful ally and yet a powerful weakness.

when the only thing you care about in life is that one person. the one that knows you inside and out. and when you think about not being with them you get sick to your stomach and want to cry. also when your in love with someone no matter how bad your day is when you go to bed at night and he is there holding you while you sleep you are so happy that everything that was bothering you you just forget about it. and when you look into his eyes you see everything about him in his eyes. and the most important and best part is the trust. you have to be able to trust them with you life my boyfriend is the most important person in my life I go to him for everything and he does the same with me. and you know you love someone when you can honestly say you die for them.

I'm not sure this answer covers everything but something I've always remembered something I read a long time ago.

"Love feels like a big, cozy sweatshirt and cup of hot chocolate on a chilly day." You know that feeling when you throw on your brother's or boyfriends baggy sweatshirt, plop on the couch with a drink and hang out? Something like that.comfortable, happy, warm, cozy, totally yourself (no make-up, no worries), etc.

This is just my version of love. Wake up thinking of him, have him on my mind all day evreyday, little simple things remind me of him.

I'll be a better person just for him, I won't do anything possible to make him hurt like he has made me !

I'm on the dyeing side of love, whole different story.love is wonderful though : )
