My husband had a history of cheating on his 1st wife and now I think he may be cheating again, but am not sure if I am just being paranoid because of his history.

He has a co-worker (I'll call her Sandy). One day I found out that he was at lunch with her, so I called him to find out if he would admit it. He wouldn't answer his phone for an hour and a half, when he finally did answer I asked him "what are you doing?" He said "running errands." So, I asked him "did you have lunch?" He said "no." Then, I just came out with it and said, "I know you went to lunch with Sandy, is she in the car with you now?" he denied having lunch with her and said she wasn't in the car. Later that day he called me back and admitted that he went to lunch with her.

Now, a couple of months later... he went to a sales conference out of town. When he got back I snooped around on his Blackberry and found emails that he and Sandy had exchanged.
She wrote: Call me
He wrote: Why
She wrote: I need you
He wrote: Why
She wrote: that's a story left for another time; I'm going nuts!

Am I crazy, does this sound like a email thread between two co-workers?

I confronted him about the emails and he said there was nothing going on, but that he and Sandy had discussed it and they were concerned that I would think there was something going on between them - I can't believe he talks to her about it! I feel like it's the two of them putting up a united front against me.

Have you ever heard that the wife is the last to know? I don't believe that,... she is always the first to know,... perhaps the last to accept it though.

Reason why is your gut is normally right,... if you are feeling uneasy, there is probably a reason. Also, with his past history, it doesn't sound too good.

I wish you the best of luck with whatever you choose to do.

All I have to say is that where there is smoke, there is fire. I have been a victim of being cheated on and all I can tell you that that is exactly what he is doing I don't care what excuse he uses. I'd rather confront him with the truth than live a lie. It's up to you, either leave him or put up with his infidelity. Good Luck.

honey take it from a cheater - he's cheating. 2 choices, forgive and forget and let it continue (they don't stop). or end this marriage. You are in control here.

If he is not be upfront with you likely he is cheating or hiding something. Nothing wrong with having a lunch with a coworker unless you start lying about it. There is something deeper going on. Being the wife you should be the first to know. Talk to him. Take a break, say you need space because you feel uneasy about all of this. Why do you have to suffer? You deserve better. If he is not coming around let him go, who needs a cheater anyways.
