Absolutely. But you also have to have self confidence. If you're just shy around strangers, then that's ok. We all develop at different levels. But sometimes, if you're shy about how you feel about a guy, we read that as a sign that you don't like us. And some guys are also shy, and so if we don't see any visible signs from you, we think that it's because you don't like us. Don't be afraid to tell a guy how you feel. Being shy is a choice, it's a habit you've developed, just like people that are outgoing. You are who you choose to be. There is definitely nothing wrong with being shy. But if you're so shy, that you're limited in what you do and who you are, then it can become a problem. Life is all about going on limb, stretching yourself, and doing things you don't always do. I've found out that I have missed out on a lot of fun, because I've been shy, or scared to do things, but when I took small steps and did it, I had a blast, grew a lot, and learned about myself.

As long as she is just shy, and not totally unable to communicate. You can be shy and still have self-confidence. I know this, because I was very shy growing up.

It just depends on the guys personality. If the guy is shy and so is the girl, then I don't know if that combination will work out. Nothing will ever get done or said!
