Hint, hint

Yeah, just have the courage to tell him how you really feel. Many marriages have been strained (or broken up) because some women want a man to read their minds. We can't ( this is why I think a lot of men don't understand women). Set the same standards for yourself you set for him. Would you want your man to give hints and subtle clues about something that's really important to him (and leave you confused and wondering about mixed messages) or would you want him to be a real man and say how he feels. Real women are should never be afraid to say how they feel either. A lot of older women are shy about expressing themselves at first too, but learn to help their relationships by always communicating and not hiding what they feel. Be tactful and constructive, but always say how you feel.

In my early days for sure I wasn't as romantic, and I learned cause my girlfriend's friend kind of gave me the hint. Looking back that was a nice subtle way of doing it, so if you have any friends that are friends with your bf, maybe they can pass along the message. In my case my girlfriend's friend said something along the lines of, 'wow, I would love to get flowers...i bet karen (my ex girlfriend) would love that too---are you getting her any flowers?" And well, I wasn't planning on it, but after that hint hint, I got them. And once I saw her reaction, I realized that it was a good thing to get them on a regular basis, and from there, I went on to get more creative.....but the guys creativity about being romantic could depend on his inner desire to please you that way.....
