I have always been a jealous girlfriend. Originally my boyfriend said it didn't bother him but it's gotten worse because I have an anxiety disorder. Yesterday I acted jealous and questioned him about a female friend, and he kind of blew up at me. He didn't threaten to break up with me, but he said "You have to stop this, sometimes it's just too much." I cried for hours thinking he would break up with me, and then he called me later in the day and said "Just because we have a disagreement doesn't mean I'm going to leave you. Just stop getting so worried all the time." So I figured I'd stop and so far I have stopped, except I still feel worried because he was mad at me! (even though he said he was just frustrated, not full-on mad). I am very willing to change and go to therapy and go on medication.
1.) Is he going to break up with me over this? 2.) What are some steps I can take to stop being so jealous and worried?
Update: I already promised I would change and go into therapy and stuff...but he says he doesn't believe me until he sees the change, because I've promised this before. I just want him to be happy with me.

Wow I'm a very jealous girlfriend to guess it just natural for some girls. Well personally I think that if he was going to break up with you he would have already done it by now so apparently he does care for you. I say try to be confident that he does have strong feeling for you and you shouldn't get jealous at the girls he talks to. If he hasn't given you a reason to be concerned that He's flirting and talking to other girls behind your back then don't worry about it!
just relax and be confident in the relationship your in!
You need to stop thinking he is going to leave you. All this comes from insecurity. Convince yourself you are a great person and he would never want to leave you. He might if you continue doing it because guys don't like being controlled. Chillax and go with the flow ;)
Haha thanks...i'm planning on changing, its just that my dad left me when I was little and I have serious issues with abandonment...hence the reason I'm going into therapy! - 9 months ago
