I'm almost 24 years old and so far in my life I've only fell deeply in love for ONE girl which only lasted a few months... other than that, there's girls that have been attracted to me, but I've never really been attracted to other girls... am I being a little too picky here? I'm talking about TRUE love here, and not crushes or one night stands or anything else... something one sees long term with... Thanks.
I don't think that you're being picky at all. I'm 23 and I've only been in love with one guy. I've had crushes and dated and stuff but so far only one love. There is a difference between being picky and finding that person that makes your heart leap out of your chest. Picky is judging someone by every little thing (i.e. toes too short, hair not long, laugh too loud) that kind of stuff. I know when I've found the next great guy because I won't have to second guess it. Society is telling us that we have to fall in love a thousand times but that's just not true. She's out there and trust me you will find her. Good luck!
You can't fight your own feelings. It sounds like you have high standards, which is good! The girl whom you eventually pick will feel flattered that you chose her out of all of your potential suitors, and you'll know that you made the right choice.
