I'm 25 years old. I've worked on the rigs for 7 years, never had a girlfriend! Just quit the rigs and got a job in town now. People all say I'm a nice guy and can't understand either why I haven't had a girlfriend before in my life. I myself also can't understand why I can't seem to get a girlfriend! Am I being too "nice" of a guy?
Part of the blame I guess is spending 7 years in the rigs. It was all guys there, and so I've been looking for about a year now, and haven't found a girl to date!? Seems like all the girls I meet are all cocky girls that aren't even interested in talking to me? I've tried taking up some activities, like martial arts, night classes... etc, but still no luck. I'm not a bad looking guy either, average. Is something wrong with me?! Help me out here girls.
Maybe there just aren't any nice girls where you live or maybe the girls there just don't know how to appreciate a nice guy. I kind of had the same problem for a while, I was 17 before I ever dated, yeah that's a bit different from 25 though but I just couldn't seem to find anyone nice like me out there or anyone that wanted to date me. I'm bout average looking too but I just never fit into the crowd since I was so nice and maybe that's the same for you maybe there just aren't any girls that are nice like you there. But don't give up, keep getting out there and someone is bound to like you and want to date you, you'll find a girlfriend sometimes it just takes some time. Hope I helped some.
