My girlfriend and I have been together for a little over two years. For the first 3 months the sex was amazing. Mind blowing even. Since then things have really fallen off, and she is completely disinterested in sex. The frequency has dwindled to about 1 or twice a month (we are both around 30yrs old). She says that she doesn't masturbate any more. She thinks it's the pill, though she already switched once to no avail. Help!
YES. It is a known side-effect (I've never heard of a brand of the pill that doesn't come with this problem). I think it might even be listed as a side-effect on the boxes. It definitely killed my sex drive last time I was on it. So, yes, good chance that is the problem. Why don't you guys find out what happens if you go back to sex with condoms for a while? I would also see if you can speak to some doctors about what might work for the two of you. Good luck.
