If you took the RU-486 or "Plan B" or "Morning After Pill" within 36 hours after copulation, you should be fine. Also, you report using a condom that failed. Most of today's condoms have a lubricant that contains spermicide, so you have that going for you as well. Also, there is your cycle to consider. You can become pregnant (give or take a couple of days) for only a week or so out of your 28 day cycle. I think you have nothing to worry about. The more you worry about it, the later that period will come too. Relax. The 95% effectiveness of the morning after type pills comes from inappropriate use by 5% of the users. Most of all, relax. I am serious about delaying your period due to stress. Also, using the pill will mess up your cycle a little too. RELAX. You did right. And, next time, you can be doubly sure by using a condom AND a intra-vaginal spermicide (see Encare, Semicid, etc.). Relax.

Usually you will start ovulating half way through you cycle. I can tell you from experience that I have used the morning after pill and I was fine. I am pretty sure you are fine. All you can do is wait.

Well let me ask you this. Are your periods regular? When was the 1st start of your last period? I can tell you from that if you were possibly ovulating during the time the condom ripped.

Usually you can take the test after you miss your period. There are a few brands out there that can detect even 5 days before you miss your period. So what do you mean by how fast to get rid of it? You mean when you give birth? Or do you plan to terminate your pregnancy?

Question Asker Like the condom tore and I took the morning after pill, which only has a 95% rate, which is the quickest of getting rid of it, it was 3 days ago, can a pregnancy test work tomorrow, and if the pill didn't work, what know, is there something else I can take? - 8 months ago
