Do guys say I love you just to get sex?

Absolutely they say I love you. If you have a guy saying I love you, and you haven't been together long, he's saying it because he wants sex or because he has low self esteem and doesn't want to lose you. Anytime a guy says I love you really early in a relationship, it should be an immediate red flag!

Be carful. If he is saying it you should know based on the relatioship you have if he means it or not. Lots of times men say it just to get in bed with you and loose interest after the deed is done. If he means it and really wants to feel you and be with you...there is a good chance that he will not lose interest after sex and the relationship will continue on and be real. Or you are just really good in bed! You should know based on the relationship you have with him and how long you have been with him. Don't play games and lead him on, and don't do anything if you are not sure or ready. You will know when the time is right.

Well, sometimes, when a guy is in his late teens or early 20's, if he hasn't been to bed with a girl yet, he might say that he loves her to encourage her. It's not right if he doesn't mean it, but if he does mean it, then it's okay for him to say it.

Sometimes guys can be that way.

It depends on how long you've been dating. If it's with in the first 3 months its probably just infatuation. It seems to feel a lot like love. But if you've been dating a year or so. If he says I love you he probably means it.

I talked to the same guy for 14 months and never slept with him. He would sporadically tell me he loved me but every time I went over the it seemed he just wanted sex. I didn't fall for it but just be careful because guys do say it just to receive sex.

If its a guy you met in one day and he tells you he loves you, then most likely yeah he is saying it only for sex. My cousin is an expert, he is a pretty boy and every girl is on his ass, he tells all of them he loves them, but on the real side.. he doesn't..hes just using them.
