Girls,how do you feel when a MALE gynecologists examines u?

I wouldn't want my gyno to be a guy all of my doctors have to be woman for some reason because I just feel more conferable with them looking at my body.

I have never been and I don't ever want to go. If I was forced to go I would most certainly make sure that the gynecologists was a woman. I think male gynecologists are weird.

Uncomfortable, but it is just something you do and get it over with...I have had a few children so...But I always used to have male doctors but for some reason now that I am older I prefer a woman, when I was at the hospital a while back they wanted to do an Ekg and I wouldn't let a man do it, told them it had to be a woman. I don't care how many breast he has seen or how professional...A man is a man is a man...

well my first obgyn was a guy...he was really nice and actually quite nice looking too!
but it was weird...I had a boyfriend at the time but I never had sex before..
so to have a male doing such an intimate examination was weird to say the least...
but he didn't make me feel awkward..he was very professional although my heart was racing..
I was also worrid that I might get excited if someome touched me that intimately and that was a worry..(thankfully that didn't happen)
now I don't mind anymore...I went thought childbirth and I think you get used to a lot then..(all the nurses, midwives, doctors...that had a look and feel around.).honestly you get to a point where you just don't care about it anymore.
now it can be a guy or a woman doctor not an issue...although if the guy was really cute that might be awkward...LOL

Awkward. Because no matter how much people say "oh he's a professional, he's seen over 1,000 vag-jay-jay's, he's not gonna judge you" the truth is that's complete BS because it's not like they can turn their brain off. Even though they would say differently to make women feel more comfortable, when they're down there they're obviously thinking something. And that's enough to make anyone feel elf conscious.

Tensed, uncomfortable, and shy. We never want to be examined from a male, we're afraid males will judge us and we'll be put on the spot. It's just a feeling that shouldn't be there because of the sex difference.

Ok to answer this, A male has no business being a gyno doc. How does a man know what women go through and a female can relate better to a woman's body... seriously how many men have had a period or experienced child birth!
Men should be barred from this profession.. no more free/or paid looks .it should be a law. Female gyno docs only with no men allowed in at all!
