Because my new boyfriend is so unadventurous. Let be backtrack; When I meant my current boyfriend, I was just coming out of a bad relationship that just happened to have AMAZING sex. (Like mind blowing, drive you crazy, can't get enough kinda sex!) But it wasn't enough to balance out the serious issues he had.
So my new boyfriend is awesome in every aspect of our relationship- He's sweet to me, he's dependable, he treats my family with respect, except he's so boring in bed. I've tried multiple times to get him to be more adventurous/aggressive (which is what I like), but he's stuck in his missionary-comfort zone.
I want him to be more active in bed! I don't want to straight out say that he's boring, but I want things to change. How can I tell him without hurting his feelings?
Take control, force him under you and be the dominant one, do what you want while you have control and see what he does, the worst thing he can do is tell you to stop.
And if he does, just say to him "We just need to try some new things..." Then suggest some of the things you want to try.

how long have you been together with your current bf? maybe he needs some more time to feel comfortable with a new girlfriend to do certain things... he could also not be very experienced and might be afraid to make a fool of himself... maybe take it slowly...like if he only likes missionary ...don't go straight to some karma sutra expert position..take one that is only slightly different and move on from there..that might be easier for him to adjust to...and then loads of praise (you know like how you train a puppy new tricks...tell him its amazing...moan..whatever it takes to get the message across...) take control by maybe taking over...tie him to the bed...blind fold him..tease him...do the things you want done to you then tell him it is his turn...maybe if he enjoys it he will return the favor..
or have an honest discussion about it and ask him why he doesn't want to try new things..say it makes you sad as you would like to make your sex life even better than it already is (see the compliment there to not make him feel bad?)
or tell him you heard of this really amazing position that is very enjoyable for the guy and you want him to experience it!
also ..I am no advocat of drinking excessively but I somtimes feel a glass or 2 of wine.beer..whatever can help people overcome some inhibitions ...things that might worry them might not be such an issue and he might be more willing to try it...of course if you don't drink or he doesn't forget I mentioned this. then once you have done it once...and you get loads of positive feedback about it you are more likely to try it again...
