Why do guys like holding girls in their arms?

Sometimes it is...

- They want to show you that they love you.
- They want to show you you're safe.
- They like being close to you.

It's a sign that they care and love you a lot.

Well to be completly honest guys hold girls in there arms because it shows the world if ur in public that you two are together and that means he really does like you and wants everyone to know it ... when ur alone in bed or watching a movie I do it because I like the feeling of having someone close to me ..someone that I can trust on for everything and I know will always be there for me...also I love the feeling of when she grabs my arms and pulls them tighter around her because it shows she does want to be with me...and last but not least I would die for my girlfriend and it makes me sure she is safe and everything is perfect in the world when I hold her because I know nothing bad is going to happen to her

It's a way of being close to that person. Just something about wrapping your arms around a girl that makes you just warm immediately if you love her.

It makes them feel powerful, like they're in control and protecting their girl, almost daring the world to stop him.

It just feels right. When you just stand there with your arms around the girl and it just...fits.

I have never had a girl friend but I suppose it would feel wonderful to have someone you love be that close to you. If would be comforting I suppose.

The only time I like it when a guys wraps his arms around me are if I am facing him (kinda like a hug) or if I'm leaning against him (like on a couch), otherwise I feel like I'm being attacked and I don't like it. Weird, I know. Plus, if they come up behind me, my boobs are the only thing that get action because they wrap their arms around me and they always somehow end up on my boobs, almost like it's intentional.

Mine doesn't hold me...

To protect us and be close to us. Also to show other guys that your his.
