I have perfectly fine orgasms, and when my boyfriend fingers me it's even better. I masturbate with a massager on my own(my boyfriend is away at college) but I'm worried that I will get used to orgasming from the vibration and not have the same feeling if my boyfriend goes down on me.

I have great vaginal orgasms, but should I stop using my massager on my clit for a little while before my boyfriend comes home from college in the summer?

I honestly don't think so but the only one who knows how to please you is yourself but don't get too used to it just in case but sex is a mental thing too so if your mind thinks your boyfriend is not as good as your toy then it won't but if you know your boyfriend can do way more things to you that the massager then I don't see any problem

Speaking only as someone who's read a bit about this, and not as a female who's experienced this, I have read that it's possible. Apparently it can also happen for guys too, but it's less common. It certainly happens for guys in the short term, but I'm not sure about long term.

I know it's going to be awkward, but you may be able to talk to your doctor about this. I'm sure they're not sex experts, but he or she might at least know the validity of studies done in this area.

On the flip side, issues with sex, especially when it comes to women, has historically been very biased, distorted, and sometimes outright false. It's entirely possible that the idea that masturbating with a vibrator is nothing more than people trying to convince others it's wrong to masturbate and using faulty science as a tool. I certainly don't know any women who've had this problem, but the number of women I've talked to about this is limited.

You can't "lose" and orgasm or get used to a vibrator and not be able to get off threw intercourse. If you have tried this yet you should use your vibrator clit thing WHILE having sex. Its awesome.
