If you're able to deep throat, does that really mean you don't have a gag reflex?

A person can train themselves not to respond to the reflex. I used to eat a lot of sunflower seeds and the shells would get stuck on the back of my tongue. So through the process of getting rid of them with my fingers I guess taught me how to suppress my own reflex. I didn't even think about it until I was getting a throat culture once. The medical intern was all excited about it and brought in another girl and told her I didn't have a gag reflex (they swabbed the back of my throat with a qtip, if you don't know what a throat culture is). She even asked how I didn't have one, and for tips. I assumed she thought I was gay lol.

The bad part is, if I ever have to make myself throw up some day I'll probably have to find some way to un-suppress the reflex.

I am a very outgoing crazy guy so once I wanted to make this chick uncomfortable for very personal reasons so I took a lolipop and I was playing with it around in my mouth and I was doing some sucking gestures so then I got the idea of trying the deep throat just to figure out what it feels like and to make that girl a little more uncomfortable so I tried it and I didn't gag or anything until I started laughing then I was choking a little but since it was a lolipop I pulled it right out lol

You do likely have a gag reflex to some degree, but for whatever reason, you're able to control it. Or you're sucking small cock.

If you are not gagging, it usually means you don't have a gag reflex. Because, if you do have one, it is really hard to deep throat without gagging.

It just means you are good at controlling it or you know where in your throat triggers it.

I can deep throat most of the time but I have to control my breathing and speed as well as keep my jaw and throat relaxed or else I will gag.
