Do virgins even exist anymore?

All of my close friends are virgins. I have friends who aren't (im 16) but a lot of them are probably fronting (lying).There's nothing wrong with being a virgin, but sex is the "thing" with some people.

did anyone notice that its only guys in here saying they are virgins?

I am still a virgin as well and I am 18 years old. There are many kids who have had sex already but there are also many who remain virgins. It is a personal choice and has almost become somewhat of a peer pressured act nowadays. VIRGINS DO EXIST!

Yes they still exist, when I started uni (aged 18) I was living in halls with 7 other random people, 4 of them were still virgins, that's 50%. I know this is a really crap way to represent a whole population, but I'm just saying there are a lot of people out there who are virgins.

Well, as I am in fact here, I'd have to say yes there are some left. In fact, even though I'm from an area where a lot of people have kids young there are still a lot of us who are virgins.

i'm 20 and I'm still a virgin. my ex boyrfriend is also a virgin and he's going to be 21. then my guy friend is 22 and he's still a virgin. it jsut depends on how your raised, who your friends are, and where you live.

What does being a virgin have to do with anything. Its a choice. That's your choice and your entitled to it.

I agree that a lot of teens these days seem to be throwing sex around like its no big deal. BUT I'm now 23, I lost my virginity at 17, to my high school sweetheart of 3 and a half years, who I loved deeply and he loved me the same, it was perfect, I wouldn't change it for the world even though were not together now.

They do exist as everyone has mostly pointed out already. I think there are many kids way too young having sex as well. Although, I am not a virgin I will admit I was too young when I lost it to an older kid who I thought would want to date me if I slept with him... not a good idea and I regret it to this day. After that I learned and didn't do it again until I was in a serious long term relationship. I hope a lot of other kids learn if they make the same mistake.

Uh, duh. There are loads of them, even at your age. Hell, I've seen dozens and dozens of 20+ virgins on this very website.

Everyone shouldn't be expected to lose their virginity at a certain age. Your time will come no worries, some happen to lose it at 13, some at 20, some at 29, some at 35? lol point is, everyone's different, be patient.

YES ! I am 26 and virgin... mainly by choice not by any religious beliefs! a lot of people think that virgins at my age is due to lack of beauty and so they don't get laid... that's BS in some cases I guess... I consider myself really good looking and very datable but I am so picky when it comes to guys... sometimes its a curse because I screen them so much and one of my things is that I can't just kiss anyone for the heck of it... like most people do ... because they don't think is a big deal... go figure... Anyways, I have been approached by many guys but there is only one that I still like back in college and who I don't seem to forget and that's hurting my chances to let someone else in my life. He went back home and has a Girlfriend there... we still talk but strictly platonic I guess...

I agree with you that its like a boom now that so many underage kids are engaging in sex... I guess its peer pressure ... since everybody is doing it so they just wanna fall in that trend ...

My friend is turning..well she just turned 22 and she hasn't done it. I know a guy is26 and he isn't un-interested in sex, he was very..friendly when it came to..kisses and magic fingers, but the act of sex...he hasn't don't it yet.

Don't worry, their still out there. There's nothing wrong with it either, I respect those who want to still be virgins for reasons when it comes to relationships.

I don't like the ones that just want to throw it away because everyone else is doing. You should at least make it semi-enjoyable =P
