Anybody heard of this? I haven't heard of it until now when I saw the promo for tomorrow's Tyra Banks episode. What is your opinion on it? For those who don't know what it is:
objectum sexuality is commonly referred to as OS, is a pronounced emotional desire towards particular inanimate objects. Those individuals with this expressed preference may feel strong feelings of arousal, attraction, love, and commitment to certain items or structures of their fixation. For some, sexual or even close emotional relationships with humans are incomprehensible. The term objectum-sexuality was coined in the 1970s by a woman named Eija-Riitta Eklöf Berliner-Mauer from Liden, Sweden, who was married to the Berlin Wall.
I can't relate to that at all (lingerie turns me on and I can even pleasure myself with it, but I couldn't fall in love) but hey, if it doesn't hurt anyone and isn't unhealthy for that person (is it?) I'm cool by it.
you can actually marry an object or something? how does that object or whatever sign the papers? what if they are already married well they can't talk so how would you know that they want to marry you? that's just my opinion I think its kinda crazy.
I think, whatever makes them happy. The more people in love with objects, the fewer babies and less pain in the world. GOOD FOR YOU Eiffel Tower lovers and tree huggers!
