If you are asking each of us what our experience (or friend's experience) is then I'd say most of my male friends had had around 8-12 sexual partners by age 25 (statistically close to average).

Except obviously lots of people in the poll were lying or deceiving themselves. How can men have twice as many partners as women? Emberly - They aren't equal because looking into each male, they have more amounts of "sexual partners" ; If we look into each female, they have less amounts of sexual partners... Therefor the statistics are showing on an average, that men have more partners than women. - 5 months ago

I really have no idea, I just googled and got an in the ball park number. I don't know how accurate these numbers are but if I were to give you a number out of the group of guys I know... anywhere from 4-9 would be the average at 25. - 5 months ago
They don't have to be equal. I think if any of them were lying, they'd go for more than double the female figures. Women tend to lean towards less sexual partners - you could argue that's biological or you could say it's to do with pressure from society on women to have less sex and men to have more, but I really think it does end up that way. - 4 months ago
I'm sure you can Google for the answer - and it will be all over the place - from 3 to 20. And in the grand scheme, does it really matter? I don't think it's bad to be experienced and have multiple partners as it helps you decide what you like, etc. But there's no "magic" number just like there isn't for penis size. Do what feels right for you and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing.
1337 - How many would you want to have, and why would it change anything or matter..? Most men seem to think it is a goal to sleep with # of women before they are ## age, like it is a competition... When you're married and all of your friends are either locked up or deceased- what's the point in games?
