It sounds degrading. It used to be derogatory term. Back in the day boob meant a stupid person. So why do people, especially girls, refer to breasts as boobs? I'm not a big fan of t*ts either, unless we're talking about birds. What's wrong with just calling them breasts?

Boobs is just the casual name for them. Breasts sounds too much like what the doctor or your health teacher might call them. Is like vagina. Saying I want you to lick my vagina doesn't sound as hot as lick my pussy. Lick my vagina is, again, too proper and medical I guess. Suck my t*ts is hotter than suck my breasts.

Lol I use t*ts to explain something awesome:

"That ride was the f***ing t*ts"

Other then that you could call them whatever you want, dirty pillows, fun bags, fat sacks, the girls, t*ts, boobs, milk dispensers, whatever floats your boat.

In my opinion people are waaaay too sensitive these days, kind of a drag, no wonder stress kills, people stress themselves over sh*t that doesn't even matter.

My opinion.

Question Asker I don't have a beef with any of those other terms. Boobs and t*ts just sound kind of negative. And I'm talking specifically about referring to mammary glands. I've been known to use t*ts the same way you did there. It's not really being used as a direct reference to milk dispensers. And I'm not stressing about it. It was just kind of a random thought that popped into my head and I wanted to see if anyone agreed. Apparently only one person on here does. - A month ago

Hmm . . . I don't know why boobs has become the most common term. It's what I prefer, though. I absolutely HATE the term t*ts and I feel old and overly proper by saying breasts, so I guess boobs is all that's left.

I use breast. I only say boobs around friends. Sounds too immature saying it around strangers.

I think boobs has fallen into the "comfortable" category for descriptive terms. "Breasts" and "t*ts" both seem more dirty and sexual. Then you have the terms like "jugs" and "knockers" which don't seem common outside of a bunch of frat guys.

Question Asker Obviously it's fallen into the comfortable category but why and how did it get there? And yeah breasts is a sexual term but how is dirty? It sounds more medical to me. Breast cancer, breastfeeding, etc. - A month ago
