Question for the socially awkward guys.

Yes... we think about sex. I'm actually a very out going person sexually. Kind of a nympho =D

In high school I didn't really go to parties. Was very shy, didn't know how to talk to girls. Played MMORPGs.

I was a quiet kid.

But hey, I'm the first of all my other friends who were cool and went to parties to own my own house, have a fiance and getting married next year.

Sometimes the socially "awkward" guys are the better nicer guys.

I wouldn't say that at all, they might just be shy and feel intimidated by large social gatherings. If anything they're probably the ones most interested in relationships but just don't know how to really express that. It never hurts to help the shy ones along!

I'm just like how you describe those kind of guys. I think about sex a lot though but with that one special girl. I actually like girls and would rather hang out with them than playing mmos , games, and watching anime and stuff, but it seems girls don't really pay attention to me they usually more into the bad boy popular type. And I'm way to shy and quiet to approach a girl especially a very cute one. But if a girl would come up and talk to me I would give her my competle attention and listen to her. What ever she may have to say. It would alsoade me happy that she notice me out of all the other guys.

Lol, generalizing about MMORPGs is pretty retarded, I know 5 people that play WoW, two of them are girls, none of them are remotely socially awkward, they're all well above average looking and very out-going. I played an MMO for a couple of months myself, and the percentage of them that are nerdy losers is the same percentage of people that are nerdy losers in real life, ie there is no correlation.

As for them not caring what you have to say, maybe because you're making it so apparent that you're extremely judgmental of them and they're not taking you seriously?

in a word YES! Usually we are very jealous of the guys who do have active social lives or just "got game" where girls are concerned. we also wonder if women are just totally dumb because they choose to spend time with popular guys instead of guys who are alone.
why is it that single women crowd around a guy who has a girlfriend, but totally ignore the shy guy eating alone?

They think about it just as often. Typically, they either don't know to, or don't care to, act on it effectively.

OR, they're nailing the few girls that are in their scene (hint, hint).

We fantasize a lot about the women in the RPGs. They're not real and therefore no threat.

Yeah, we're shy, but in this case the cause is probably selfishness.
We want others to do for us what we're not willing --but able -- to do for ourselves.

I was kind of shy in high school, not part of the popular crowd and into computers. I don't think I was awkward, just different. I definitely thought about girls and was attracted to them. I just lacked the confidence to really talk to girls I was interested in.

Everyone is different and I guess all you can really do is strike up a conversation with them and try to gauge their interest.

even the socially awkward think about sex just like any other guy out there. I don't think that they're necessarily uninterested but rather they're just shy or feel they are unable to relate or have things in common with what you would call a "normal" girl and not use to conversating with them regularly.

Well if Ur talking about geeky men well the answer is quite complicated because. more out going men or tougher more confident men will tend to have a high testosterone levels which is directly related to sex so men wit high testosterone levels will think of sex more doesn mean the other guys dnt think about it.

I used to be one of those WoW kids (though WoW didn't exist yet). Me and my friends all played together. A lot..Like whenever possible.

Trust me, they think about it just as much as the next guy, if not more (it can get pretty frustrating looking at porn all the time). If anything they're WAY more intimidated by you then you are by them.

My phase only lasted like 2 years (thank god) and after leaving HS, and going to college I got a fresh slate to work off and it was fun..I wasn't the 'nerd' anymore :))

I don't do WoW or anything, but I am socially awkward. I do think about sex, but I think about a girl who would like me, and that is important. A relationship would always come before other things

Guys like that kinda creep me out because in the back of my mind I wonder if they're gonna be future killers like Ted Bundy or something :/

I was sexually awkward in high school but I was not horny for some reason until I got to college and didn't do anything till I got to college. Now I party and have fun and its awesome lol
