Funny... I've sent my girlfriend a video like this. Is it common for girls to show them to their friends, or should I expect that they've seen it? As to answer you question - guys want to be agreeable most of the time and I'm guessing he was hoping you'd make the right decision. Given that he sent you a video of himself masturbating anyway, perhaps you did make the right decision in his eyes (if you showed it). Maybe he wants all of your friends to see his penis. Who knows. Or maybe he was testing YOU to see how you'd handle a video of this...uh...magnitude.
In general, guys like it when your girls brag about us. It is a big ego boost, especially when her friends say something like "I wish my man was like that" or similar. We are proud that she is happy enough with us that she wants to boast to her friends.
As for the video, I can only assume it falls into this general desire for our girls to be happy with us and brag to their friends. Not something I'd do personally, but whatever floats his boat...
Clearly he was being agreeable with you. You took it to mean that he wasn't showing loyalty and true love.
Perhaps cut him some slack and let him make it up to you. He may end up turning out to be a dud but it's probably wise to have as much faith in him as you can muster.
Why do women like to do hidden "tests"? There are some things you automatically don't show to your friends. That video should have been one of them. When you asked him if you could show it to your friends, did he say yes, or did he answer with "if you want to" ? If he asnswred yes, you still should have kept it to yourself. If he said "if you want to", that was leaving the choice up to you, which still should have been not to show it to your friends. Sometimes you really need to think for yourself when it comes to things like this.
