My wife and I both waited until we were married. We dated for about 5 years in high school and college before our wedding. Both of us were strongly committed to waiting, so while the temptation was always there, it was never really an option for us. We are both glad we waited. It is so freeing to know that you are never being compared to a past partner. You both grow together as you learn more about each other and how to please each other.

I'd really respect a girl if she saved herself for marriage. That means that she has integrity, a sense of self-worth, and wanted to save it for someone special.

I would not advise saving sex for marriage unless Your marriage is already arranged by Your parents (such things still happen in some parts of the world) and You don't have any other choice.

But I would definitely advise to wait and save it for your 18 years birthday at least ...

I did it, and never regretted it. If you can, it's great. Takes a lot of self-discipline...and masturbation to get you through.. Hah hah! Anyway, seriously, my marriage ended up not working out, but it was so great having saved that, and not having all the baggage from sex. A clean slate is highly under rated these days.

Depends. If you're saving heterosexual vaginal intercourse for marriage, while giving and getting a little of everything else, you're probably fine.

If you're denying yourself every possible form of sexual contact, then if you're not nuts already, you'll go nuts soon enough. I do not recommend this course.

i am waiting...and my boyfriend respects my decision...some people say you shouldnt wait because what if the sex isn't good or whatever but its not like your refraining from doing anything your just refraining from having sex...so you can still tell if your sexually attracted to that person and stuff and if you are then you probably won't have a problem when you get married to them..just my opinon..

Secondly, in my religion, sex is a perfectly natural act to do at the right age. That "right age" depends on how you feel about sex.

i don't think it's such a great idea because what if you guys don't click in bed or it's really bad, then you're stuck with that and that could create more problems ..

I thing saving your self for marrage is a good thing. I myself am a virgin some of my friends are having sex with their boyfriends who treated them like crap amd I ask they why they do it they say just to get it over with. God did not give us this gift just to get it over with. Another reason why I am waiting is because of the creepy stds (we just had sex ed later with the pictures of stds. worst thing I ever saw) well I don't want that happening to me so I'm just gonna wait.
