First, relax! He says he loves you and sounds like he realizes it will take you a bit of time to get used to a sexual relationship, so don't stress out. A few tips: I think initially its less important that you know what you are doing and more important that you just have fun with it and make it obvious (moan, tell him) that you like what he is doing. You enjoying what he is doing will make him feel good about himself and turn him on. Its really about attitude. Just be sexy and happy and have fun. You've told him you are a bit nervous, that you don't know what you are doing etc. Why not ask him what he'd like you to do/what he likes or even ask him to show/guide you? Also you need to just be brave and try a variety of things and check out his reactions to get to know what's working.
