I'm honestly curious: when having sex, once intercourse starts, does the guy usually (with the exception of stopping briefly to change positions) keep on thrusting for the entire duration of sex or is there usually starting and stopping? Usually I need to pause every minute or so or I'll finish quicker than we'd like.
Yep, everyone does it differently.. I say go slower when you feel like you might finish soon. My boyfriend changes positions and sometimes we just change locations (but that's not always an option, I understand). I think it's normal to stop after a while though and then start again.
Advice : If you have privacy, it's good to move from bed to sink to closet.. Or something like that. It can be really fun and hot. It makes it easier for the guy to hold it off for a while but also might turn both of you on more..
Guys vary, but pausing every minute is a lot. Honestly, I don't care. I do care how many thrusts total, but not if they're spaced out. I'd rather have an hour of sex with lots of pauses than 15 minutes straight.

My favorite partner stops a few times "during" in order not to finish too quickly. Sometimes he stops right when I am getting into the groove and it distracts me, and I have to work a little harder to meet him at the finish line.
I suggest you take the opportunity when you take a break to whisper something exciting in her ear, or touch her in an exciting and erotic way. Keeps your partner in it until the end!

Well... Everyone does it differently... a couple guys I've been with can go non stop other guys who are more sensitive cannot.. it also depends on how hard and fast etc that you are going at it. if its a little rougher it'll also make the man come faster.. sometimes the woman as well.. but like I said everyone's "sex style" is different.
