I shave with shaving cream and in the direction of the hair growth, I try to do it regularly and I use a fresh razor every time I shave now. BUT somehow I still get a rash every time. Its embarrassing and annoying, so how do I make it stop?

Try a different shaving cream, some are different. I actually don't use shaving cream, I use gel because its less likely of ingrown hairs and leaves a smooth, neat, shave.

What I have used when I started shaving my genitals was a double/triple blade razor with moisturizer strips on it. Dove soap lathered up real good in a hot, hot shower and a Lanolin or Aloe type skin cream after. I've been told that taking vitamin E helps and using the fluid in a vitamin E capsule as a skin cream works as well. Hope this helped.

ive been through a lot of shaving fiascos and have done research lol! first off get a good razor..womens razors and mens are obviously very different, womens are designed to be less sharp and more gentle because women have sensitive skin...so get a good one like the venus or intuition, secondly...its important to moisten your body thoroughly, meaning when you're in the shower you have to wet your arms and legs for at least 10 minutes, until you skin is really sofy and almost numb, and the hairs on your body are soft, and this makes it easier to cut the hair from the hair root...if you immediately jump into shaving, it doesn't matter what shaving cream you use, the skin beneath is still gonna be dry and the razor blade scrapes that dry skin layer off and its gonna cause rashes and razor burns.

the only way to do it right is to have moisturized skin with prolonged exposure to water! =)

also after you're done, put a nice organic lotion on it, not those with chemicals in it, like baby lotion or baby oil is awesome, anything with coco butter or aloe vera, jojoba...etc
