I wouldn't say that has anything particularly to do with being turned on but it does have something to do with showing affection. It's more a romantic gesture than anything else. Like a guy really likes that girl and when he does that he's doing something more special and by his actions is telling her how much he likes her. Once started it can turn a guy on if he's kissing her in intimate ways with nice little wet kisses and often saying sweet nothings to her at the same time. That's how it is with me and I'm sure it's about the same with most guys. When a guy is turned on he's more likely to start holding you closer and foundling. But I'm sure there's exceptions.
