Is it bad to have sex the second time you meet someone?

It's not bad at all. And anyway, if you have nosey people in your life who give you a hard time about it, just don't worry about them.

I'd say it's not good, but I don't know much about 40+ dating.

You need to have the best of confidence you have a good guy to do this without at least a high expectation of losing the guy in the next week.

I say this because I have seen and heard from friends that love to hit and get. So if this is your angle too, then go for it.

On the flipside, I have had sex with my last three partners in the first 2 days since meeting and all of the relationships lasted at least one year and the last girl I married in the past year. Hope that helps

I don't think it is bad, but what happened after you did. Are you still together, and how do you feel about it. That is what it really comes down to. If you feel bad about it then maybe you shouldn't do that again. If you don't and you are happy then it is a different story.

I did the same thing, BIG MISTAKE, only because I would have rather continued with a relationship after, but he had other plans. So it all depends on the whole expectations after thingy.....

If you want a relationship you should wait. If you just want sex make sure you are protected. Sex for the sake of sex can be fun, but if you think this guy is relationship material then I'd wait.

It really depends on the guy and on what other kind of connection you might have (if any). For instance, if you get along really well as friends, have good conversations, and basically just click, then I don't think it's such a big deal. However, if the attraction is purely sexual, you might not find this going anywhere, and might just end up in a FWB situation. Like I said, it depends on the guy. I don't think it's bad, but it is really soon, so don't be too surprised if you two just end up having a sexual fling and not much more.

It's all relative to the situation. The second time is fairly soon but it's not "bad". It's up to you and what you want from him long-term.
