My period ended on Oct 4.. & I'm still waiting on it ?! I took a pregnancy test this morning & it was negative my nipples been sore now for days & last week I had cramps. I don't know when to expect my period I'm used to that its 21-23 days between my periods.. & this is day 30 How long to wait if the pregnancy test shows positive? But I'm almost sure that I'm not pregnant... :-/
You could just be late. If there is even a slight change in your schedule, it can throw your body off whack. Last year I missed September and October and my husband had deployed to Iraq in June. So I wasn't pregnant, but I had started working end of September right before my expected period. I loved working, but because I hadn't worked in a few months I wasn't used to it so it really threw me out of whack and I just missed two periods for no reason.
Cramping can be a sign of ovulation as well. You might have ovulated a little later than usual. And sore nipples can also be just a sign of Aunt Flow coming. You can have your period for years, but aquire new symptoms after a while. I didn't used to get ANY symptoms til I turned about 18/19 years old. Sometimes PMS symptoms just kick in later in life.
If it doesn't show in a week, take another test. If that is still negative, set up an appointment with your doctor to get a blood test done. Some women won't show positive on a home pregnancy test at all during their pregnancy but will indeed be pregnant.

There might just be your answer, then... Stress is a REAL b*tch. Remember how people, even doctors, say how stress is unhealthy for you, and how it influences in all those crazy ways? Well, aside from being a weird chemical process itself, it even messes up your hormones which may even be so powerful as to result in your period either coming earlier or later.
I miss mine all the time- that's why I started taking birth control pills so I didn't have to worry about it any more. You were probably stressed and worried too much and it threw off your cycle. That's perfectly normal. But sore breasts or nipples can be a sign that your period is about to start. I have the same problem- mine get very sore to touch. If you want to take another pregnancy test, they have sum you can take days prior to missing your period. If you aren't pregnant, it could take a few months to get your period back on track again.
This happened to me 2 many times. Your period might be late. Maybe your stressing out so much that its coming late this month it happens. If you been protecting your self with sex you have nothing to worry. If the pregnancy came out negative then your fine. If you don't get it in another week take another test. But I know how your feeling its happened a lot of times with me the soreness cramps no period probably b coming in the next couple of days
