No, not at all. . Guys who can get women like that aren't looking at average-looking women anyway. And guys who can't get women like that easily accept average looking women.

No. What it does is that it puts more pressure on men to get laid more because with so much porn out there, it makes it seem that there is a lot of women out there willing to screw and the average joe is not in on it. But what society does not realize is that maybe 90% of these women do it once and never again. At the same token, you always see the same guys in porn each and ever time.

As ppfxxx said, every day society such as media, movies, advertisement, sports and just being around others puts more expectations on women than what porn could ever do. Add in to that a woman's levels of self esteem and that is what makes it stressful. Think about it: even without media and fashion, who wants the fat ugly woman?

I don't think it is the porn industry that raises expectation. I think it is basic advertising and TV. Look at the how desperate house wives. None of those "housewives" are overweight or not looking as hot as possible. What about the fashion models. They are too thin. What about the models on a show like Deal or no Deal. Those women are smoking hot. Ask yourself. Have you ever met 25 women that are that hot. Here there are 25 in one room. In my opinion these are the things that raise expectations. As far as porn. If it gets a guy hard. That is all he cares about. Just my 2cents

The average porn these days are home made videos of amateurs and very normal looking people doing absurd things with each other and in any case most guys don't care about how the girl "looks" like as long as they can see tits and pussy and girls (any girls) getting horny and having sex.

Yes, to some degree I do think it does make women more self-conscious of their bodies. After all these blond beauties are the ones our guys are comparing us too eeek. I also think that most guys realize that those over inflated boobs and killer bodies are not what the average woman is packing. Does that disappoint them.? I don't know.

There are always going to be women thinking porn is horrible, some of those will always say its because it makes them feel like they aren't good enough for their significant others. There will always be even men saying that they don't like porn because it makes them feel like they aren't good enough, but if the porn wasn't there, it'd be something else making them feel insignificant - if something on the TV screen (or computer screen) can make you feel bad about yourself, you really do need to work on your confidence.
