When girls are young they don't have a period, hormone fluctuations, or breasts. What is it like to have a period? How do you feel during hormone fluctuations? Finally does it really aggravate you to have 1-2 lb breasts?
I'm a guy so I can't imagine what it's like to be a woman and personally I have no desire to ever experience it...
However I imagine it really sucks. Please don't take any of this offensively I'm merely curious.
Update: Wow thank you all for your answers. I think it really has helped my perspective on having more empathy for the females in my life. :)

We really do get used to having periods, I have the worst temper on me during PMS stage lol, and when your going through puberty as a female, you can't really see it happening, but you suddenly find that you got a lot more assets haha, but you don't know any different because it's the way you are. Like, when I think about guys, having something dangling there when I'm walking... eesh haha :)
Being a woman is all about experiencing the flow of life. Nothing really feels stationary or boring. One day, we can feel on top of the world, and the next day, we can feel like total crap. Having a period feels like a gigantic release of sorts. Before I get my period, it feels like a water balloon is slowly filling up inside me, increasing pressure and discomfort. I feel like crying for no reason, or eating some really sweet foods. I start thinking about babies and what it would be like to get pregnant. And then it feels like all the pressure inside is released, when I finally get my period. PMS is much worse than actually getting your period, because of all the discomfort. having breasts is just something we grow into. If we suddenly got large breasts one day, I am sure we would all have troubles with it, but we slowly get used to them being there.Only really large breasts cause discomfort, because of all the extra weight pulling on our backs. I don't think that being a woman sucks for all those womanly traits. Hay! we don't have to worry about spontaneous erections, maintaining a hard on, or being responsible for making a woman orgasm, so it evens out fairly between the sexes.
Well yea guys do have their troubles to. Not so much maintaining a hard on... That is usually for people with sexual issues or very old. Spontaneous erections however are as annoying as it gets. (especially for someone with very low blood pressure like me... In which case it actually makes it hard to sleep at night when I don't masturbate TWICE). Not all women have difficulty having an orgasm though. - 13 days ago

Well I was just comparing the difficulties of being male to being female. It seems to me that men have lots of problems dealing with their bodies too, so being female is not the short end of the stick. Each sex has its own unique problems and it doesn't make them worse or better than the other sex. - 12 days ago
the boobs can get in the way but at my size that can be expected lol the mood thing I hate cause I can't tell I'm getting that way and the bleeding is just annoying but I wouldn't change being a women
I personally like being a woman. Breasts aren't really an issue for me. They don't get in the way at all. As for periods, sometimes it can get a bit messy and frustrating at times, and I tend to feel really gross around that time, but I deal with it. It's really not so bad being a girl, because there's still a lot of fun things about being one that kind of out weigh all of the not so great things.
Lols! Well, it's fun being able to have so many options when it comes to fashion, style, and make up. It's also kind of fun doing makeovers on friends. Also, it's kind of fun talking with friends about cheesy, sappy, romantic stuff at times, and spazzing out over cute things like puppies and not be judged for it. Lols. - 13 days ago
Everything. Knowing that some day, I'll have a child, and I'll be an example for it. Knowing that I made it through. All the little things make it worth it. :] - 13 days ago

Ive often had thoughts about what it would be like to be a woman. Actually, I'm sort of interested in getting a sex change. I would probably never do it because of the cost, the pain, the possible botched surgeries. Too much to screw up. I can honestly say I DO wish I knew exactly what it felt like to be a woman. It comes down to being different I guess. I look at myself and then my sister and even though we are alike in some ways, in a lot of ways we are very different. She is much more confident and outgoing than me I can't help but wonder if the tables were turned if I would be like her instead. I wouldn't wish the way I am on her though. Not on anybody. Fuck no. But I digress. The only thing about becoming a woman is I would have to be a lesbian because I don't like guys. Not such a big deal though.
My really close friend is having a sex change, though he likes men. He just really liked the make-up, lifestyles and confidence of the majority of women. - 13 days ago

It's flattering when a gentleman approaches a lady and tastefully compliments her, is it not? Notice that I used the word, "gentleman". I won't go and say that gentlemen don't exist and that chivalry...
