Is having "online sex" sex?

Well, the one who has a significant other doing it with someone would consider it cheating.
And, no it doesn't have the same meaning to me. Only the real thing is good enough for me.

Well technically it is cheating because you are causing the act even tho the other person isn't there. we always try to find loop holes in relationships so we can have fun else where but if you were in their shoes would you want them to do it with someone else? but I would try to communicate to you lover that they need to step up their game and be open minded and help you with your sexual cravings, communicate it with them.

No. Nothing can ever replace the real thing. I don't care what anyone else says. Phone sex, sex with toys, loving Jesus or whatever. NOTHING is as good as real sex with a real person. Masturbation does not count. Period.

"cybering" might imply a simple conversation to you either on phone or web cam but a genuine flirt on the other end can get as much of your private life out as would have been equivalent to meeting you. Really don know how a boy friend is gonna feel if a stranger, no less one of his friends knows more bout his girl friend then he does :-)

Cybering/online sex isn't the same as sex. It's the concept of an intimate relationship with someone and if that someone isn't your significant other, it's cheating.
