Yep, we plan on getting together. She just wants to make sure that I truly am the one that shell live forever with. It is possible, it sounds like you have slept with the person more then once. So, there's probably something there. Don't assume that he loves you though. I have seen a guy use his friend just for sex. He was single, just didn't want her. Just ask him the simple question, "Are you just using me, or do you truly care for me?" that is if you want to be more just friends.
I think that it is possible under any circumstance. Right now me and my guy friend are having sex but we are just friends. He is calling me a lot more than normal just to say hi or how I am doing. This has been going on for about three months.

I think it's inevitable to have some sort of feelings for the person you are sleeping with on a regular or semi regular basis, unless you are a sociopath. Humans (men & women) want that contact, yes even the ones that don't want a relationship want that contact. I think it's a basic human need and when you find someone who gives you attention, weather it's with sex or what comes before or after the sex, you can become attached to the person. After all they are giving you something you want/need.
I do think most women get attached faster then most guys do.
If you are worried enough about getting attached to your FWB to post this question, chances are that you already have those feelings and are wondering if its possible for him to feel anything for you. Men are not without feelings, he has them he just might not know how to deal with them.
