Why do people think this is true?

Women in general have it much easier to get sex then most men. For the most part, men really don't care too much how attractive a women is, long as they are willing to put out. I've men thousands of average to ugly women who have had sex and have lovers over the years. What makes the decisive factor is what a woman has to make up the difference in an ugly face or small boobs. Things like a nice body, cleanliness, good legs, nonsmoking and drug free, and an overall good personality can override an ugly face. Fatness is quite different but not by much though. A woman doesn't have to lower her standards and hit the bars or take just ANY man on the street, just leave a good impression on a guy she may be interested in and be willing to do something with him. I've been more attracted sexually with average women over the years than with hot babes because I'm sick and tired of the selfish "Goddess" arrogance that some hot babes possess. In addition to being rudely rejected because I am not tall, handsome, young, race-specific and rich.

Maybe not ANY woman can get laid, but it is most certainly easier for them. Even a very plain or unattractive woman can get it much easier than a man in a similar situation. I've seen plenty of bigger girls who were not that cute getting attention at bars and such because they were working it. I'm sure there are limits to this statement, but women most certain have an advantage in this department!

I agree with that statement. If she really wants to, she can. It would be harder for a man because women are not usually after sex. I think if a woman took her clothes off in front of a stranger man, he would probably have sex with her, whereas if it were switched, the woman may scream!

Well it does seem that at times women do have more of advantage when it comes to choosing who they sleep with. If she's hot then yes she can pretty much pick whoever she wants to have sex with.

I so HATE that statement, because it is a FALSE statement.

The only group of people that would believe in this statement are males that don't/seldom get laid, and/or jealous and envious of people like me :D

Men who think "any woman can get laid," are misogynists and hate women. Don't forget men, if you think "any woman" can get laid, you're including your mother, your grandmother, your sister, etc. , etc.

I think this is bullshit. I think that if any woman tries, and has no standards she can get laid. But I think that goes for men as well.
As for not trying at all and getting laid, I think Belleza makes a good point - that doesn't happen for all women, it happens for some particularly attractive men and women.

In anycase, I don't think I'd want to be with a guy who I don't have/want to try to make things work with.

So maybe I don't quite hate it, but I find it a pretty stupid thing to say.

I'm all for hating it! No one can get laid just like that UNLESS a girl is beautiful or a guy is a stud or unless they are drunk and not knowing what the hell is going on then a guy would do a woman who's unattractive! Makes sense?
