Be careful here. Guys in your age group use the "I love you" ploy all the time to get in girl's pants. It may be true, but if it was said in the context of "you would if you loved me" then kick him to the curb.
Because you're questioning whether you should do it or not, it seems you have doubts. Don't do it until you're doubt free.
Thats a decision you'll have to make on your own and live with. If you don't think he is the one or you are having doubts then I think you should wait. If its something you want to be special then make it special and you'll know when its time. If not then, hey, its your life. Just remember that most younger guys just want to get laid. If its important to you then you should try and determine if this guy wants you for you, or just something else. I'm not sure how much under 18 you are, which makes me wary about encouraging anything but waiting. But then again, I'd be a hypocrite. Only you know what's right for you. Just remember to be safe if that's the way you decide.
Well if your not sure then don't until you feel comfortable with it. I didn't feel comfortable for a while because I thought I could get an std or pregnant. I didn't have sex with him until we went to the doctor and made sure we both didn't. I guess my worries were right because I'm pregnant but I'm happy with being pregnant. Look here is what I'm trying to tell you when your ready you are. If your not then wait till you are. If he loves you he will wait until you are.
My honest opinion. If you're questioning whether or not he loves you then obviously you're not ready. I think also that if you really really loved him you probably wouldn't be asking this question. Please think about this before you make a decision. You are so right, your first time is very special and should only be shared with someone who truly deserves you. Don't sell yourself short. And don't worry, no pressure. Because if he really does love you then he won't mind waiting for you. Why don't you put him to the test? That should help you figure out if he's really the one for you. Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal first date... I'm always up for something simple. He would pick me up and we would go and volunteer at the homeless shelter or at a church in the kitchen for the homeless, after that we would then take a walk in the park to get to know each other more.. so by that time of nonstop getting to know one another the date is over.. he takes me home, we hug and possibly a kiss on the cheek!
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date well know how I react to different people, what music I like, how I want to help people, what makes me hyper, how I sometimes snort when I laugh, how I'm very shy at first but very open minded about everything. He would know I don't judge people and that I'm just myself :)
