Hi! I'm a female who is bi. I don't have a hard time meeting girls that I like but I never seem to be able to "go in for the kill" when it comes to asking them out. I have been around several girls whom I have flirted with like crazy, and they have definitely shown interest, but I have been too chicken to ask them out - afraid that they will hate me if they are totally straight or be afraid of me because I like them in "that way". Any suggestions?
Do you know of any clubs in your area that have a reputation of having many bi or gay customers? That means kind of putting yourself out there where your preferences are not very well hidden. But the atmosphere will likely be relaxed and not much chance that anyone would be put off. The other approach is by word of mouth. Talk with people you know are bi, even if they may not be your type. You should meet more girls who are receptive. Also maybe someone on here will respond a little wardrobe accessory that makes a statement - a sort of bi-girl secret handshake, for lack of a better term. There was always the thing with gay guys and whether they wore an earing on the right or left. I never figured it out. The rest is body language and I'd wager that 90% of that is eye contact. That goes for people of all persuasions.
Well I'd say for a straight girl it would probably be just like a straight guy being asked out a a bi guy(or homo). I've had one experience where there was this guy that was just a friend for a while until he suddenly asked me out. Yes, it was very weird but I told him I was straight and we eventually got over it and now were just friends =). If there's a bi or lesbian girl that you really like then get to know them. It shouldn't then hurt to ask them out.
just get the gut s to say it if it don't turn out good then oh well live for today but look forward to tomorrow there are plenty of people likely one of them will go out with you.so just go for it.
I have been friends with this guy for 3 years we have just gotten past the friend line because in the past one or both of us always had someone else....

On a night out, I spotted someone I liked the look of. He's known to one of my friends, through the tedious link that her boyfriend's mum is good...

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
Pick up lines are so cheesy. If I'm downtown I usually start by commenting on someone's outfit or asking them what they are up to for the night. If I'm in class or see someone during the day, I'll try to strike up a conversation by talking about something we both have in common, like class or something neutral.
How do they typically respond?
They usually give me their full attention and begin a nice two way conversation for at least a few minutes. Sometimes it ends with them giving me their number, or me asking for it if I'm still interested, Other times one of us will try to make plans to meet up some other time.
