The question are you a virgin was once a personal question because there were people that were actually virgins and now people are just dirty I swear people don't care. Whatever happened to personal emotional then physical, instead in our generation all of that is one step. People nowdays have a more open mind into sex and are okay with expierenemting and trying new things. There is nothing wrong with having an open mind and being a free spirit. Having sex with more that one person is totally okay, and so is waiting til marrage. It is someones personal choice.
Nowdays, you just have to use a condom and try to be as safe as you can. Sex with multiple people is risky and dangerous, but if your willing to pay the price for your actions then go right ahead and have sex.
Well I lost my virginity just about 2 weeks ago, but I did go through the steps of personal, emotional then physical. We love each other and both of us were ready for it, and nothing has changed since then. I think people are so sexual these days mainly because of the media and peer pressure. Seeing all these raunchy things on tv and magazines, and hearing about other people's dirty stories just made the generation value their virginity less and less. Say peer pressure, most people would have done it by the time they get to high school. And as you said most those people just simply don't care because they just thought it'd be fun or because all their friends have done it.
I'm 15 and I'm still a virgin. Luckily I'll be virgin till I get married or at least found the right one. I think virginity is a major issue, especially for a girl. You are just virgin once, then, its gone, forever. Sometimes I found myself thinking how horrible and sad it would be to remember your first time with a guy who you didn't love, or even if you did feel something especial towards him, it was in the past, not now. I'm 23 and I'm still a virgin. But it's not due to the fact that I don't want to have sex. I just haven't really been in a serious relationship, and I haven't found anyone that I like enough to progress into that step. I also believe in being emotionally attached to someone before giving in.
