So me and my boyfriend of 2 years had sex for the first time and after we cuddled for like 10mins then I got up and made us something to eat[[ I was hungry too]]. Since it was the middle of the day he had to leave before dinner so we got cleaned up and everything and just chilled and played Guitar Hero 3 till he had to leave.

But the next day at school all his friends were looking at me strangely like I did something weird.

Did I do something wrong?

Update: Sorry this wasn't me this was my best friend[[No lie]] I'm asking the question for her and I did wanna do the whole "my friend" thing.

Most likely the strange looks were from realizing the person they thought would never put out (2 years and nothing? Ridiculous. ) had done so. Once guys know a girl puts out, she is suddenly much more interesting. Worthy of even backstabbing your friend over, to get "some of that".

The best thing this boyfriend could have done was to keep his mouth shut about the event. Oh, but he just had to brag to his friends about finally hitting it. Now they are envious, clearly.

They're looking at her like that. Like a piece of meat, to use the old saying. Because she is a walking target for their penis.

nix0n Well, 2 years without putting out is pretty average for those that are 13 and under. My sister is 18, a model for Forever21, and is still a virgin. The reason I bring this up is that sometimes it's personal preference, and by the comment that she made at the end of the post "I did this for my friend, blah blah blah, I'm still a proud owner of my V-card" means that this post still holds a little bit of bias towards retaining the 'V' card. - 6 months ago
Answerer Whatever the female's reason for retaining virginity, or even the length. It has nothing to do with the guys in question. It is obvious they all now know that the friend no longer has this "V-card", which I imagine as some sort of social chastity belt, fending away boys with the stigma that any attempt at a physical relationship will always be rewarded with a giant set of blue balls.

The length of virginity retained during the relationship wasn't a problem, only that the relationship survived - 6 months ago

Well, in all honesty - if he talks to his friends about your intimate life, that's a douche bag move right there. There's something missing from the story. Sex, food, hang out. Sounds pretty average. If there's nothing more to the story (like, awkward sexual positions, or preferences, or he got off a minute into having sex, or some weird smell, or. Well, you name it). Then the answer is 'no', you didn't do anything wrong.

I think that talking to people about your sex life before talking to your partner about your sex life is a douche bag thing to do. Give it a couple more days and see how he ends up treating you (by you, I mean your friend).

Let me know if that helps any.

tizen I agree that telling his friends about the event was a douche bag move. My theory was only that they now saw here as a potential conquest, but you may have something too. Maybe he experienced something odd and told his friends about it. This douche bag should have definitely addressed his concerns with the lady he was with, not his friends. - 6 months ago
Answerer Also wanted to say that I was dating my ex girlfriend when I was 18, for 2 years before we had sex. Seems pretty normal. - 6 months ago
