Why is it that some men see a pretty girl sitting by herself at the bar in a hotel and they automatically think/assume she is a "call girl"? It happened to me in a few occasions where I've had men approach me offering me stuff. Last night I went for a drink (I'm surrounded by hotels) at a near hotel and I had 2 guys come up to me. One asked me "how much"? and the other guy wanted me to keep him company at the casino "for good luck" and he will pay me for the company! It's outrageous!
Maybe this is a bad question.but what were you wearing? Maybe the guys figured that there were supposed to be girls like that there. You were looking hot enough to be that type of woman, and immediately their minds filled in the blanks. What you are taking as an insult may have just meant that they thought you looked dressed to kill. I know it was insulting to you, but just a note of comfort.the high end casinos that do allow the call girls to "hang out".only allow the hottest and classiest to sit at their bar and pick up men. You must have been looking mighty fine to have two different men try and pick you up. Sorry if they offended though.
To be honest with you I looked very pretty. I had an elegant cocktail dress. Because it is an elegant hotel (The Ritz Carlton) I was at the bar drinking an Apple Martini. I went alone because I am single and I literally live next to the hotel. I don't see anything wrong with a girl wanting to buy herself a drink!! - 4 months ago

You probably looked so beautiful, guys wanted to spend time with you, and thought that they were going to have to pay to do it. Us men are stupid. Well maybe for a couple reasons. First off, he's probably like a bull looking for any bitch in heat to do his thing with. pardon the expression. Guys like that hang around alone at hotels looking for likely prospects. Also, a pretty girl isn't usually sitting by herself at the bar at some hotel just there to pass the time away. Maybe by the way you dress or handle yourself appears to him that you "might" be available. How much time do you spend at a hotel bar alone just sitting there and drinking and not looking around but rather just straight ahead? No girl or guy friends to go with you?

Not to sound offensive but a lot of single attractive well dress girls are there for that reason. The ones that approach you are probably just being cautious about it. guys hate talking to a girl then find out later on she is a call girl.
at least they are being up front about it.
if they apologize the walk away. you will know that they were mistaken. things like this happening can be the curse of being beautiful.
best advice is to ignore it.
best chance is to make a regular bar you go to and word will get around that your not a call girl.
