Whats wrong with a man being a virgin at any age?

Honestly, its not a bad thing. Its interesting that girls turn you down, because the girls I know would think that its sweet, and wonder if you are saving yourself for The One. Maybe those girls just think that if they do get with you, you might get clingy, the same way girls get clingy to guys when they lose their virginity.

I would love to date a guy that is inexperienced with sex. I am. I would prefer to not contract stds. The thing that worries me is, if they guy starts having sex, will he go off and cheat because he has an ego boost?

How fast are you telling people this? For your sake, I wouldn't do it right away. Girls like guys who are desired by other girls, and being a virgin at 39 doesn't bode well for this preference. I think you probably shouldn't say anything until you feel like you're getting close to having sex. If a girl already has feelings for you, she won't reject you for this reason. I guess this might seem dishonest, but really everyone buries their undesirable qualities early in a relationship.

i doubt that at your age you're being rejected has to do so much with the fact that you've never slept with anyone as it does the fact that when women hear that they automatically think something must be wrong with you because no one's ever wanted to sleep with you. which is unfair. but just to be safe, don't tell them unless they ask. and act confident in yourself. women like that.

There is nothing wrong with it at all. Two of my guy friends are virgins, they both want to wait till there married to lose their virginity. It is hard to find a guy who is still a virgin at any age. I don't like feeling pressured when I'm with a guy who is addicted to sex. They all know I'm not easy. Nothing is wrong with it at all.

Just see it like this, these women who reject you are not to be taken seriously anyway they obviously look for experienced guys (in bed ) and end up with jerks all they are looking for is a pleasure and that is learned with time with virgins and there is nothing wrong with that. A real smart woman would look beyond that and look at your qualities and how great you can treat them.
Also why waste your time with these other airheads anyways. You eventually would find the right one. Question: Do you tell these women right when you meet them you are a virgin? If so you should totally become friends or go out a couple times with someone you like and maybe then tell them.

nope, in fact virginity is not a disqualifier. But considering the scenario today where premature sex, extra marital affairs, teenage sex/ abortions are becoming socially acceptable, to the point where it is actually considered "normal" and lack of it may be perceived "abnormal" .

People are normally comfortable with familiarity, since ur case is a rare one ( being virgin long in life, perhaps due to other commitments in life or what so ever reason), women might be a little skeptical.

Of course they are missing out on a good guy in the process too, with their limited perception and not really spending time to differentiate a genuine man from the weeds.

Hate to say it but I wouldn't sleep with another virgin if you paid me. It generally winds up being unpleasant. There were huge expectations of how it would be and what would follow (these expectations caused no end of trouble) I picked up that rule in my 20s, I can't imagine what I would think if I met a woman who was a virgin at my age. Scratch that, yes I do, I would run.

Nothing personal but I would keep that information to myself next time. Its a big thing to spring on someone.

It is terribly strange to be your age and still a virgin. So strange that a comedy was even made about a situation such as this.

So strange that I think that any women who hears that you're a virgin would think that you're a liar and are rejecting you on that basis.
