i've been dating this guy for at least a month and we both really like each other. Now his birthday is in 2 months. I want to give him a kiss for his birthday but I haven't ever had my first kiss yet- on the lips that is- and I don't know how to make it not awkward. Like when would I kiss him and what if he doesn't want a kiss and how do I make it so it's not uncomfortable? Plus what do I say after I kiss him?
lol wow don't put so much pressure on yourself. once I you kiss him you will see why I say that. you are obviously young, and want everything to be perfect lol just like my sis.
chances are the kiss will be a peck and not anything big, but I would definitely wait till your in private, maybe tell him I have a birthday gift for you waiting in your room or something. you could tell him to close his eyes and then you go in for the kill!
but really I think once you are in private, just tell him how much he means to you, then kiss him and say happy birthday. don't get so stressed over it it is nothing!
i know its a big deal when your young, but just go with your instinct and you'll be fine. a guy is going to love a kiss regardless of what you say or what you do. trust me you will be fine!
Haha we are having the same problem. my boyfriends bday is in a few weeks and I also plan on giving him a kiss. So I'm thinking of kissing him on the cheek and see how he reacts then I can move in. Afterwards just say happy bday
Lol, the first thing is not to stress over it so much, especially if its not for another 2 months.Kissing someone isn't as big of a deal as the media makes it seem, honestly.
If you want to wait for 'the perfect moment', there probably won't be one. Its better to do it while your alone though because with other people around its very awkward. If you're really nervous still, you can just tell him that for his birthday you want to give him a kiss and explain that you're nervous. That could make it a little easier on both of you if you want to do that. You could also wait until your leaving and kiss him on your way out or something. There are plenty of ways to do it, and it doesn't really matter which one you choose.
Afterwards, you don't really have to say anything you could just hug him. Or you could say something like happy birthday hunn. It doesn't really matter what you say, there will most probably be a conversation waiting to happen afterwards.
