Quitting is not good for your health. I don't think girls have to know about it. Only stop if it's something you personally want to do, but unless you do it in front of them, there's no reason why they'd have to know about it.

Changing yourself for people is really not the way to go. Masturbation is fun and completely harmless.

If future girls have a problem with it, I suggest you make them your exs, too.

believe it or not its actually healthy for a guy to masturbate at least once a week, or at least ejaculate in some way if they don't they could be more likely to get prostate problems.if you don't do it ever you could actually get diarrea or cramps, and a doctor could actually perscribe masturbation as a treatment.its rare but possible.though if you do it too often you could have a problem

Don't ever stop doing something around sex that only has a direct impact on you because someone doesn't like it. As long as there is no impact to anybody else then that becomes their problem. And, not all women are so inclined to dislike masturbation. In fact, my partner likes to watch me masturbate and even though we have sex pretty much daily I still like to masturbate.

I know that doesn't tell you how to stop which was your original question. My feeling is that it would be unhealthy to stop. You have energies that build up in your body that need to be released and if you don't then those energies will be released in one form or another and not always in a healthy way. I think that is what the church has tried to do for a very long time and look at how unhealthy our society has become towards sexuality as a result.

Um. Usually with something like this, you just distance yourself from all forms of pornography or equally enticing material.

This is mind over matter. Just so you know, a few times a week is normal. When you get a girlfriend, and she has a problem with it, and you want to keep going out with her, THAT'S when you change your behavior, but right now you don't have a girlfriend, so why stop?
