Eye contact during sex!

I absolutely make and maintain eye contact. One of the things I have learned about women and sex is that they like the guy to be present with them. This means that they are not staring at the wall thinking about another girl or the football game. They want to know that they are the important one in the moment. If a guy is not looking into the woman's eyes then it can mean that he is thinking about something else.

For me, I maintain eye contact at all times and always try to have a smile on my face so that she doesn't think I'm upset or something else.

Guess it would go a little like this; If you are having sex with someone you really care about I think you are going to have eye contact for several reasons.
1 you care about this person
2 you want to be sure your partner is enjoying it
3 you just plain enjoy looking at your partner

Now on the other hand if you are just banging someone you don't really care about, its just for gratification you might not look the person in the face. The reasons above mean nothing in this situation and you are just in it for the sex.

It's one of the most intimate things 2 people can experience, shared between 2 people that really love eachother. I find with guys I'm just having casual sex with I can't or don't look them in the eye when they're inside me but with a guy I'm head over heels about, you just want to pleasure them and that's all you care about. Making sure they enjoy it is all that matters when you love them and looking them directly in the eye is the way you see if they do. When you both look each other in the eye when having sex and coming up to an orgasm it's the most intimate thing you can do. Because it's when you are totally losing control of yourself, and looking at someone in the eye when totally losing your self control is very intimate and shows you really care about someone and really trust them. It's fantastic. And it increases the closeness between you two directly afterward, because you have shared your orgasm with them in the most intimate way by looking them directly in the eye and showing your most vulnerable self.

I guess you just wanna see what faces they're making, then you see their eyes staring at you, so you stare back. I don't think it means that much if anything. I know when people are performing oral sex though they like to look up at the person they're doing it to, to turn them on, see their expression, or to give a ''sexy'' look.

i make very little eye contact during sex. every once in a while we catch each others gaze and its great ;)
