I shave my pubic region because my girlfriend likes it but all my friends call me fag because I do that. What should I do about it? And which do you ladies prefer? Why?

i shave, many other guys do. personally I like it because it feels cleaner, it's more comfortable(after the first few days) and I haven't met a girl who would have wanted me to grow it in. it also makes me feel prepared for anything.not that I get that lucky that often, but you know that if you ever find yourself in that spot that the girl isn't going to mind going down on you or whatever.
so, simply, do what you want dude and your friends are just being dumb.
I am a girl and I think it is a bit fag for a guy to completely shave that region. I like to see it trimmed and gone from the penis and testicles only. The rest can be neatly trimmed with a personal electric razor and that looks very sexy on guys and girls for that matter.

I think shaving is odd for a guy and even odder for a girl to ask. Trimming is the way to go . just trim the hair so it's not a jungle down there!
Well, I think men should at least trim their pubic hair, keep it clean and such. I like seeing some hair rather than no hair when I go down on a guy. But you, you should do whatever you and your girlfriend like! Screw what your friends think, they're not the ones who'll be messing around down there.
Totally shaved always seems a little weird to me. Not like the guy is gay, but more like he's a little boy and I've somehow caught him before puberty. I like guy's pubic hair the same way I like their chest hair, short and neat.
Whatever you prefer. Why does it matter what your friends think about what you do with your area? It's not there for them. It's there for you and whoever you choose to share it with.
As for my preference, I don't really know. It doesn't really matter that much. I just want him to be comfortable.
It has always seemed to me to be a feminine act to shave the pubes, but that is my opinion and it only applies to me. What matters here is yours and your girl friends opinions. I really would recommend that you stop showing your pelvic region to all your friends. That should be kept kind of private.
If you and you girlfriend like it tough luck. Well groomed not totally shaved is best. Why & where are your friends looking at you so closely? When they grow up they will see that you are right.
