It seems like girls have to be emotionally attached to the guy in some way when hooking up, and if they aren't, they eventually get attached to them through all of it, while guys can do it without any type or intentions of attachment.

Well scientifically speaking it has to do with hormones...... have you heard about stress caused by a hormone imbalance or something? well, those "little" things called emotions are controlled by hormones and in the case of women getting attached to someone is because we women when we have sex with someone we release a hormone called oxytoxin - "the hormone of attachment"- that makes us form like a bond to that person....so we (most) really can't have an emotionless relationship.... got it? - 3 months ago

As long as there is physical attraction and mutual understanding it can be done. If the hook up is defined from the get go and everyone is honest some hot-strings-free-sex can be had. It definitely depends on the person and how they view sex. I think of it as lots of fun that two people (or more) can have and some think of it as part of a relationship.
And it's not only girls that get attached after hook ups, you'd be surprised how many guys can get just as emotionally involved.
I personally think if you find the guy attractive then you can have a fling or a one nyt stand although it is hard. I have done it befor and it can get complecaited as sex does mean more 2 a girl than it does a guy but if you remind yourself that's all you want then it is possible. Just don't start a fling thinkin I'd like a relationship or I really have feelings 4 him. If you find him attractive then you gotta c it as a sort of business deal where you 2 both get what you want and nothin more and you gotta remember you and him can c other people because if it happens and you don't expect it then you will get hurt
